Field trips outside the classroom for children in preschool

June 18th, 2011 admin No comments

field trips outside the classroom for preschool children

It is my experience that many pre-school teachers participate in field trips is not outside of the classroom environment field trips to do with a certain risk, but the benefits outweigh the risks from field trips to.. new areas of interest to enrich and be an adventure for the kids. I personally would not teach a pre-school classroom without the students on many field trips throughout the year, their educational learning.

improve

should be considering whether one should pre-school class to go on a field trip, the journey is the journey itself be beneficial to the children is? was the excursion to the lessons of the children be in school learning have to do ? A field trip is an opportunity for the child’s view of a lesson to expand. An excursion to challenges that the child will be more individual hands on learning from an expert to give it in a particular area.

If teachers their students take out of the classroom, they are her children with another way of learning. A field trip experience offers the option of teaching through their own eyes to see. have the children the opportunity to see, touch, hear, smell and feel. These hands on activities allow students to observe first-hand, and it offers a wealth of experience for the children. They are also in the formation of concepts exposed at your own event experts discussed in the field of many teachable offer moments generates interesting questions and thinking out loud together. This kind of excursions and experiences can not be duplicated in the classroom

planning a trip to a particular theory, the students in the classroom have been learning is a very important part of a successful excursion. Based on the lesson learned, choose a place to go when they go and feel comfortable on the objectives and standards to meet, what, where and why! This is a successful excursion. In addition, when a school bus is not available, you need to ask the parents to go as chaperones. Chaperones must be willing to give the school a copy of their valid driver’s license and valid vehicle insurance card for the protection of the school and parents. chaperones have a job description by the school, who designed the details of their responsibilities. A chaperone important task is to keep children safe can! be a very rewarding part of the journey. In addition, the teacher’s safety must be in place for as chaperone have children and they must be explained and reviewed with the children and accompanying adults are.

Excursion sharing after the field trip is an important aspect of the trip, because the teacher the student has brought a new experience. I have found that Experience is very valuable one chart immediately after the trip, because the experiences are fresh in the minds of children. Children are always excited to share fun, like to experience it, to get their journey.

It is my hope that educators will be the risks and the need to security measures and allow their students for their daily lessons in an environmental classroom in turn by ‘outside the classroom for field trips.
